"Submerged" explores the theme of anthropogenic underwater noise pollution combined with Violin, Clara Levy, Viola, Julia Robert and Cello, Anais Moreau tuning into it, to be one sonic environment. Submerged reflects the unsettling impact of human activity on marine ecosystems, where industrial sounds and vessel traffic distort the natural acoustic landscape. Through extended techniques, the strings mimic the fragmented and dissonant nature of underwater noise, explore and improvise to the sound world. As the instruments intertwine, they embody both the disturbance and the resilience of life beneath the waves, offering an auditory reflection on the urgent need for ecological awareness.
